The Thunderbolts* Assemble in May (Trailer)
The MCU’s answer to the Suicide Squad forms in May when Thunderbolts* hits theaters. Gathering a group of previously seen anti-heroes and villains, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), John Walker aka US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ava Starr aka Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Antonia Dreykov aka Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian (David Harbour) are gathered together by CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) to perform covert missions to take down threats “worse” than they are. Lewis Pullman co-stars as “Bob,” aka Sentry, who, if he follows his comics counterpart, is essentially the Marvel version of Superman. Harrison Ford is expected to appear as Thaddeus Ross, and Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz will also reprise their MCU roles. Indie director Jake Schreier makes a giant step from his previously tiny movies like Paper Towns to direct Thunderbolts*. The movie is out on May 2nd next year, and you can check out the first trailer below.
