The Monkey Terrorizes Theaters in February (Trailer)
Hot off this summer’s horror hit Longlegs, Osgood Perkins is back in February next year with the backing of Stephen King and James Wan for The Monkey. Based on the short story from 1980 written by King, Theo James stars in a dual role as twins Hal and Bill. Discovering a sinister-looking toy monkey in the attic that belongs to their father, the brothers realize that the toy is causing a string of horrifying deaths. Discarding the toy, the brothers drift apart as they grow older but have to reunite as adults when the deaths begin again. Elijah Wood, Tatiana Maslany, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, and Sarah Levy co-star. Perkins wrote the screenplay and directed the film. The Monkey is out on February 21st, and you can check out the trailer below.
