Alex Garland Returns to Battle in 2025 with Warfare (Trailer)
After delivering Civil War earlier this year for A24, Alex Garland is returning to the battlefield with Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza for the film Warfare in 2025. Garland wrote and co-directed with Mendoza, whose real-life experience was the basis for the film. The movie follows a squad of soldiers in Iraq who come under attack and need to hold their position until they can be evacuated. D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, Joesph Quinn and Charles Melton co-star. It looks like another intense experience from Garland, made even more so by the real experience being brought by Mendoza.
