Up to Speed: Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic is back in theaters this Friday with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. If you need a recap of what happened in the previous entries, an official video from Paramount will give you a refresher. Ben Schwartz voices Sonic, who comes to Earth from a distant planet. Adopted by the sheriff of Green Hills, MT, Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) and his wife Maddie (Tika Sumpter) Sonic battles the evil Dr. Ivo Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and eventually finds a crew of friends that includes Miles “Tails” Prower (Colleen O’Shaughnessey) and Knuckles (Idris Elba), who got his own spin-off Paramount+ mini-series. In this weekend’s third entry, the gang finds themselves up against Shadow the Hedgehog (Keanu Reeves), a powerful military experiment with the power to destroy the entire planet.
