Robert De Niro Returns to Crime in The Alto Knights (Trailer)
Robert De Niro returns to the gangster genre in the upcoming film The Alto Knights, playing a dual role as real-life mafia bosses Frank Costello and Vito Genovese. Growing up together, the two men become bitter rivals as they fight for control of the criminal underworld in New York City, including Genovese putting out a hit on Costello. Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis, Kathrine Narducci, and Michael Rispoli co-star, with Barry Levinson directing the film. Nicholas Pileggi, who wrote Goodfellas and Casino, wrote the film. The Alto Knights is out on March 21st, and you can check out the trailer below.
