The House of Ashur Opens in the Fall on Starz (Trailer)
The bloody world of Spartacus returns to Starz in the fall with the new series Spartacus: House of Ashur. Nick Tarabay returns as the duplicitous Ashur, and the series is basically a “What If…?” scenario that picks up after the second season of the original series, Spartacus: Vengeance, and *spoilers* has Ashur not be killed on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius but instead helps the Roman army crush Spartacus and his slave revolt. In return for his services, Ashur is given the gladiator school owned by his previous master, Batiatus, and begins to train his own crop of warriors to fight in the arena. Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis, Ivana Baquero, Jamaica Vaughan, Jordi Webber, Claudia Black, India Shaw-Smith, and Leigh Gill will co-star and original Spartacus creator Steven S. DeKnight returns to write the series. Check out the teaser below.
