80s Oakland Experiences Some Freaky Tales in April (Trailer)

From the directors of Captain Marvel, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Freaky Tales tells four interconnected stories in 80s Oakland.  Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, Jay Ellis, Normani, Angus Cloud (in his final role), and Jack Campion star and the movie is set in and around actual events and locations in 1987 Oakland.  There’s a battle between teen punks and neo-Nazis, a female rap duo, a heist at the house of an NBA superstar, and more.  The movie debuted at Sundance and received mostly positive reviews and 67% on Rotten Tomatoes.  Lionsgate bought the distribution rights, and it will be out in theaters on April 4th.  Check out the trailer below.
