The ladies take over the box office this weekend as Jessica Rothe is back for Happy Death Day 2U, Rosa Salazar stars as Alita in Alita: Battle Angel and Rebel Wilson is trapped in a romantic comedy in Isn’t It Romantic.

Seems like almost something for everyone this weekend at the box office with a new Liam Neeson action movie, the highly anticipated sequel to The Lego Movie, horror movie The Prodigy and the Taraji P. Henson starring remake of What Women Want, What Men Want.

A strange mix for the final weekend of January with a well-received kid’s fantasy movie and showbiz biopic alongside a critically panned, and apparently insane, Matthew McConaughey noir thriller.

The only wide release this weekend is the long-anticipated Unbreakable/Split cross-over, Glass, but the critical response has not been great.

After a few barren weeks at the box office, four new (well three new and one rejiggered) movies hit theaters including the highly anticipated Into the Spider-Verse, the latest from Clint Eastwood, a Peter Jackson backed YA adaptation and a PG-13 Deadpool for the whole family.
