Musical Montage: The Wonders “That Thing You Do”

The directorial debut of Tom Hanks, That Thing You Do tells the story of the fictional 60s one-hit wonder band The Wonders, who have a hit song called “That Thing You Do”. The actual single from the movie, while not quite as big a hit as it’s fictional counterpart, still hit pretty high on various Billboard charts and was nominated for Best Original Song.
