One of two songs nominated for Best Original Song from La La Land, City of Stars managed to take the prize as one of La La Land’s six Oscars.
Musical Montage: Tone Loc “Ace is in the House”
Since he co-starred with Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura, it made sense that Tone Loc would contribute a song to the soundtrack, which he did with “Ace is in the House”

Musical Montage: Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds
There have been many different takes on HG Wells’ classic War of the Worlds but by far the funkiest was Jeff Wayne’s prog rock concept album from 1978, which retold the story through songs and spoken narration from actor Richard Burton.

Musical Montage: Brie Larson “She Said”
We all know Brie Larson now as an Oscar winning actress and star of some huge upcoming blockbusters but back in 2005 she was a potential teen pop star and put out the single “She Said” from her one album, Finally out of PE.
Musical Montage: Jim Varney “Gee I’m Glad It’s Raining”
Perhaps the most bizarre moment in the Ernest film canon isn’t some wacky slapstick bit but a serious and sad montage where Ernest sings the melancholy song “Gee I’m Glad It’s Raining” as all hope of saving the camp seems lost.
