Mussogursky’s classic piece has been featured in a number of things but it’s probably best known for unleashing one of the most horrific and intimidating Disney characters of all time onto the world, the demonic Chernabog from Fantasia.

For this month’s spooky installments of Musical Montage, we’ll be featuring iconic classical pieces that have been used in horror movies over the years and, to kick things off, we have the iconic organ piece Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach.

With Martin Scorsese behind the camera and an unknown Wesley Snipes opposite him, Michael Jackson’s Bad was another smash hit, and epic length music video.

Right before Michael Bay turned into the over the top master of “Bayhem” he is today, he teamed with someone as equally over the top as himself, Meatloaf, for the music video for Meatloaf’s smash hit, “I’d Do Anything for Love”.

If you’ve been revisiting Robin Williams things recently, be sure you watch him and Bill Irwin goof off to the soothing tones of Bobby McFerrin in the music video for “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”.

Great warrior Kevin Bacon manages to bring back dance to an oppressed town with a little help from Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Tyler, Moving Pictures and more in Footloose.

At least one tradition remains for the newest TMNT movie, a cheesy rap song for the soundtrack, as Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign team up for “Shell Shocked”.
