Barbenheimer weekend is finally here with both Oppenheimer and Barbie hitting theaters with critical acclaim and there’s also the horror movie Cobweb in limited release, They Cloned Tyrone on Netflix and more.

One of the most anticipated summer weekends is imminent when Oppenheimer and Barbie open this coming Friday.  While it remains to be seen who will come out on top at the box office, one place Barbie definitely has an advantage is its soundtrack, which includes “Dance the Night” from Mermaid Barbie herself, Dua Lipa.

Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning, Part One is out this weekend in theaters along with indie comedy Theater Camp while Bird Box Barcelona debuts on Netflix, Gray Matter on Max, and more in theaters and on streaming.

Along with starring and directing this past weekend’s Insidious: The Red Door, Patrick Wilson also joined metal band Ghost for the ending credits song of the movie “Stay”.

The fifth entry in the Insidious series, The Red Door, hits theaters this weekend along with the comedy Joy Ride and the Jim Caviezel-starring thriller Sound of Freedom while Netflix has Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin in The Out-Laws and more in theaters and streaming.

Alongside Matthew Modine and Linda Fiorentino, 1985’s Vision Quest also featured the first movie appearance from Madonna, who performed the song “Crazy for You” in the movie and on the soundtrack. 

Indiana Jones’ final adventure hits theaters this weekend along with the latest from Dreamworks Animation, Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken, while Nimona and Run Rabbit Run hit Netflix and more in theaters and on streaming.

A decade before they would become Academy Award winners for Everything, Everywhere All at Once, The Daniels aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert directed the over the top insanity that is the music video for “Turn Down for What”.
