Along with his various acting roles over the years, including this weekend’s Morbius, Jared Leto has been the lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars, a band he formed in 1998 with his brother Shannon Leto and has gone on to make five studio albums and hit singles like “The Kill” and “Kings and Queens”

The first Hunger Games movie turns 10 this week and one of the major ways it was promoted was via its soundtrack album, The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond, which featured the pairing of Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars for the single “Safe & Sound”.

Musical Montage: Joe Pesci “Wise Guy”
Going back to his early days as a lounge singer, Joe Pesci recorded the album Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just for You in 1998, which he performed on in character as Vinny Gambini from My Cousin Vinny and which featured the “rap” song, “Wise Guy”, which got an official music video starring Pesci.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary today, Jungle 2 Jungle was the third big collaboration between Disney and Tim Allen following The Santa Clause and Toy Story and featured lots of World Music on its soundtrack, including the song “It Starts in the Heart” from reggae fusion superstar Maxi Priest.
