Sherlock Returns to it’s Roots with the Victorian Special (Trailer)

It’s been basically two year since the third season of Sherlock ended but to tide things over till a proper fourth season arrives, we’re getting a Victorian era special called The Abominable Bride.  Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are back as Holmes and Watson but in the setting of the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories and the pair are investigating an apparently vengeful spirit.  It looks great with lots of gothic horror elements added on top of the new setting.  The special airs on BBC and PBS on January 1st and it will also be in select theaters, check out the trailer below.
