Everything Action Theater: Blood Vessel (2020)
Sinners is bringing period vampire horror to theaters this weekend, but if you’re looking for more, you can check out the World War II-set vampire movie Blood Vessel in the latest Everything Action Theater. Released on Shudder in July 2020, Blood Vessel stars Alyssa Sutherland, Robert Taylor, Nathan Phillips, Christopher Kirby, John Lloyd Fillingham, and Alex Cooke. It follows the survivors on board a life raft after a German U-boat destroys their hospital ship. They eventually drift into a Nazi minesweeper and, after climbing aboard, they find it disturbingly empty. After discovering a mysterious young girl and ancient sarcophogi in the cargo hold, the survivors realize that the Nazis unknowingly brought a family of vampires on board and they are now the next items on the menu. Directed by Justin Dix, the movie is schlocky fun with some cool gore effects and creature design. You can watch the entire film below via YouTube.
