Forming the Back2Back Action Hour alongside Cleopatra 2525, Jack of All Trades was a short-lived action comedy series starring the one and only Bruce Campbell. Set in 1801, Bruce starred as US spy Jack Stiles, who was tasked by Thomas Jefferson to investigate France’s activities in the East Indies. Paired with a British agent, Emilia Rothschild (Angela Dotchin), Jack has to foil various nefarious plots by Napoleon (Verne Troyer) and other threats to the United States. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Sam Raimi, and Robert Tapert were executive producers alongside Bruce, and the show leaned heavily into running gags, puns, and sexual innuendo. The show ran for 22 episodes in syndication but was canceled halfway through its second season. You can watch the first episode, “Return of the Dragoon,” below via The Internet Archive.
