Jason Momoa battled to protect his family in the 2018 action thriller Braven, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater. Directed by director and stunt coordinator Lin Oeding, Braven finds Momoa playing Joe Braven, who owns and operates a logging company. Taking his father Linden (Stephen Lang) up the family’s secluded cabin to talk about his dementia and the potential of needing more supervision, Braven finds a cache of cocaine that was stashed there by drug runners and has to get ready to fight them off when they arrive to collect their drugs. Garret Dillahunt plays the main villain, Kassen, while Jill Wagner co-stars as Braven’s wife, Stephanie. The film got solid reviews when it came out, but it was likely overshadowed by Momoa’s role in Aquaman that same year. You can check out the entire movie below via the Lionsgate YouTube channel.
