The Indie Premier, a new hybrid indie game showcase, has officially opened submissions for developers ready to showcase their work to a dedicated audience of players and judges. Simultaneously held this July 2–5 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA, and online, The Indie Premier is an event dedicated to indie developers to get discovered and broadcast their work worldwide. However, unlike other events, Indie Premier is actively seeking out games that don’t fit neatly into a box. The event is specifically looking for unconventional genre blends, snazzy visual directions, and passionate stories that go against the norm.
The Indie Premier is designed to serve both sides of the indie gaming world. For developers, it offers a premier platform to launch their work into the spotlight. For fans, it’s a chance to discover what’s next before it goes mainstream. Selected titles will have the opportunity to participate in both the in-person showcase and the Indie Premier Steam Event, giving games maximum visibility across live and digital audiences. Developers have until midnight on June 10 to submit their games for consideration.
