Godzilla returns home as Toho releases their first Godzilla movie in 12 years this summer, Godzilla Resurgence.

We’re going on the “adventure of a lifetime” this month by watching Cannon Films attempt at an Indiana Jones style adventure movie, King Solomon’s Mines, with Richard Chamberlain starring as public domain action hero Allan Quartermain.

After his hands are ruined in a car accident, surgeon Stephen Strange travels the globe for a way to heal them and eventually comes across the the magical citadel of The Ancient One in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie.

Not a lot out this week but the latest DC Animated Movie, Justice League vs Teen Titans, is along with The Forest, Laurence Fishburne vs Tom Jane in Standoff and a few other things.

The Old School Kung Fu festival was this past weekend in NYC and, while we weren’t able to attend in person, we were able to check out a few of the films highlighted this year, and one from last year’s Ninja fest.

The Turtles look to be taking part in some massive set pieces as they face off against a ton of villains including a returning Shredder, mutants Bebop and Rocksteady and a possible alien invasion led by Krang in TMNT 2: Out of the Shadows.

When he’s not acting, Billy Bob Thornton is the front man for the country/rockabilly group The Boxmasters, who formed in 2007 and have since toured with Willie Nelson and put out five albums.
