A new trailer for TMNT: Out of the Shadows debuted today and it features a ton of action and continues to seem like a massive improvement over the first reboot movie. Shredder is back and recruits scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), to use mutagenic ooze to turn street punks Bebop and Rocksteady into massive animal warriors. April O’Neal (Megan Fox) witnesses this and steals the ooze, causing her to be targetted again by the Foot but she and the Turtles find a new ally in Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). Krang also enters the picture and something that looks like it might be a floating Technodrome is in this new trailer. The movie seems like it’s going in the right direction as far as cranking up the action to ridiculous levels and drawing more from the original cartoon series. There is still some Michael Bay weirdness, including the new to this trailer subplot of the Turtles wanting to possibly turn human, but this one seems like more of what Turtles fans have been wanting. It’s out on June 3rd and you can check out the new trailer below.
