Day 1 of PAX East was jam packed for the Everything Action crew as we checked out games like Hob, Distance, Heliborne, Inner Chains, Snake Pass and more.

If you missed it on Netflix last year, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 is out this week on DVD/Blu-Ray along with the insane double feature of Passengers/Collateral Beauty, Oscar nominee Fences and more.

Before the convention even started, Chris and Zach got to check out some games (and special cocktails) at the Playcrafting Boston Pre-Gamer party, including the awesome wrestling smack talk card game Smack Talk Showdown and party fighting game Super Slime Arena.

Kong: Skull Island took the top spot away from Logan but couldn’t reach the heights of Godzilla’s 2014 opening while Logan is on the way to becoming the current highest grossing film of 2017.

Ariana Grande and John Legend take over “pop version” duties from Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for this coming Friday’s live action remake of Beauty and the Beast for the duet title song.

No other movie dares to take on King Kong this weekend as Kong: Skull Island is the only (well-recieved) new wide release.

The late Bill Paxton starred and directed the 2002 horror thriller Frailty, which finds his character enlisting his two sons to help him slay what he says are demons, leading the FBI, including an agent played by Powers Boothe, to believe a serial killer is on the loose.

Setting the tone for incredible action and masterful visual storytelling right off the bat, the first episode of Samurai Jack features the return of the evil demon wizard Aku, Jack’s lifelong training around the world and what was supposed to be the first and final battle between the two foes.
