Re-enter The Drift in March for Pacific Rim: Uprising (Trailer)

Five years after the Kaiju threat was thought to be finished for good, a rogue group with access to Jaegers have reopened the portal and allowed the giant monsters to terrorize Earth again.  John Boyega stars as the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost, Jake Pentecost, and joins returning vets Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi), Dr. Hermann Gottlieb (Burn Gorman) and Dr Newt (Charlie Day) along with new Jaeger pilots Nate Lambert (Scott Eastwood) and Amara Namani (Cailee Spaeny).  Steven S. Deknight, who previously produced shows like Spartacus and Daredevil, is making his directorial debut and it seems like it will hopefully maintain the awesome Jaegar vs Kaiju battles from the first movie along with some Jaeger vs Jaeger battles as well. The movie is out on March 23rd and you can check out the new trailer below.
