The Guardians Celebrate Christmas with the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (Trailer)

We saw Marvel’s excellent Halloween special Werewolf by Night earlier this month and, next month, the Guardians celebrate Christmas for the Marvel Studios Special Presentation: The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.  Looking to cheer up Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), who is still dealing with the loss of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), the rest of the Guardians realize that on Earth, it’s Christmas time, so Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) head there to try and find Peter the perfect gift, which may turn out to be legendary actor Kevin Bacon.  Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), Nebula (Karen Gillan), and Kraglin (Sean Gunn) co-star along with Zoe Saldana and Michael Rooker making some sort of appearance as well.  Borat 2 breakout Maria Bakalova joins the MCU to voice Cosmo the Space Dog, who has appeared in the MCU but hasn’t spoken yet. James Gunn is directing and the special drops on Disney+ on November 25th and you can check out the trailer below.
