Miles Heads Across the Spider-Verse in June (Trailer)
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was one of the greatest comic book movies ever made and set a new standard for the world of animation, so its sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, is easily one of the most anticipated movies of 2023. Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is back, joining Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson) when a new threat to the Multiverse arises. New featured Spiders include Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman, and Daniel Kaluuya as Hobie Brown aka Spider-Punk. Insomniac Games’ version of Spider-Man, Japanese Spider-Man, and Spider-Man Unlimited are also supposed to appear along with what seems like dozens and dozens of other Spider-Man variants. Jason Schwartzman co-stars as The Spot, the new threat whose body is covered in interdimensional portals. Brian Tyree Henry and Luna Lauren Vélez co-star. Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson team up to direct the movie while Lord & Miller return to produce. A third movie, Beyond the Spider-Verse, is already in the works for 2024.
