The Lamberts Return to The Further in Insidious: The Red Door (Trailer)
10 years after the last time they faced the horrors of The Further, the Lamberts are back in the fifth movie in the Insidious franchise, Insidious: The Red Door. Patrick Wilson returns to star and makes his feature film directorial debut with Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne, and Andrew Astor also returning from the first two Insidious movies. Dalton Lambert, who got trapped in a demonic coma in the original Insidious, is now heading to college, but the repressed memory of his horrific childhood ordeal starts to break through and his father Josh (Wilson) is also seeing the demons of The Further again. The pair decide the only way to figure out what is going on is to head back into The Further and face the horrors and the mysterious Red Door that haunts both their visions. Story credit goes to Leigh Whannell and Whannell and James Wan, who directed the first two Insidious movies, are executive producing. Insidious: The Red Door is out on July 7th this summer and you can check out the trailer below.
