Everything Action Commentary: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
With Ahsoka out this week on Disney+, Zach and Chris celebrated the 15th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and the introduction of Ahsoka) by watching the movie for the latest Everything Action Commentary. Coming out in 2008 in theaters, The Clone Wars introduced Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) into the Star Wars universe as she becomes Anakin Skywalker’s (Matt Lanter) padawan. Working first with Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) to win a battle against the Separatists, Anakin and Ahsoka then take on a mission to rescue Jabba the Hutt’s (Kevin Michael Richardson) infant son Rotta, who has been kidnapped in a plot by Count Dooku (Christopher Lee) to frame the Republic and get Jabba to sign a treaty with the Separatists for control of Jabba’s shipping routes. While watching the movie, Zach and Chris discuss the insanely abrupt intro to Ahsoka, the constantly shifting musical score, Jabba’s over-the-top Uncle Ziro, the many attempts at nicknames, sexy Jizz music and more. You can watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Disney+ and sync the movie up with our commentary below to watch along.
