Matt Damon and Casey Affleck are The Instigators in August (Theaters)
Doug Liman delivered the new Road House on Prime Video earlier this year and in August he’s jumping over to Apple TV+ for the heist action/comedy The Instigators. Matt Damon and Casey Affleck star as a couple of down on their luck Bostonians who join up with a crew that is planning to rob a major event being held by the Mayor (Ron Perlman). When the heist goes wrong, the duo goes on the run but Damon “kidnaps” his therapist, played by Hong Chau, who provides mobile therapy while the cops pursue. Ving Rhames, Paul Walter Hauser, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alfred Molina, Toby Jones and Jack Harlow co-star. The movie hits Apple TV+ on August 9th and you can check out the trailer below.
