Sauron Grows His Power in The Rings of Power Season 2 (SDCC Trailer)
The Rings of Power returns to Prime Video at the end of August and finds Sauron (Charlie Vickers) continuing his plan to corrupt and control everything in Middle Earth. At the end of Season 1, Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) forged three of the titular Rings of Power. More are created in the upcoming season as Sauron manipulates Celebrimbor and spreads more rings to the other races of Middle Earth, like the dwarves. Sauron’s forces in Mordor are also growing, and war between them and the different races of Middle Earth is inevitable. Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Morfyyd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Maxim Baldry, Markella Kavenagh, Ema Horvath, Benjamin Walker, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Daniel Weyman, Sophia Nomvete, and Owain Arthur return from season 1 and the biggest addition to Season 2 is Rory Kinnear playing the fan-favorite character Tom Bombadil. The Rings of Power Season 2 debuts on August 29th, and you can check out the new trailer from SDCC 2024 below.
