The Creature Commandos Deploy in December (SDCC Trailer)

The first entry in the new DC Universe run by James Gunn and Peter Safran, Creature Commandos debuts in December on Max.  Following the events of The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is no longer allowed to use humans in her clandestine teams. Still, she brings in Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) to lead a new team of monsters dubbed Task Force M, aka the Creature Commandos.  The team consists of Frankenstein (David Harbour), The Bride (Indira Varma), GI Robot (Sean Gunn), Weasel (also Sean Gunn), Doctor Phosphorus (Alan Tudyk), and Nina Mazursky (Zoe Chao).  Maria Bakalova, Steve Agee and Anya Chalotra co-star.  James Gunn wrote all seven episodes of the first season and serves as showrunner on the series.  As he mentioned, if any of these characters appear in future DC Studios projects, the actors will play the character in live-action or in a video game or another animated series/movie.  Check out the first trailer from SDCC below.
