Eddie Redmayne is The Jackal in November on Peacock (Trailer)
Following on the heels of Edward Fox and Bruce Willis, Eddie Redmayne is the latest actor to portray the mysterious assassin known only as The Jackal for Peacock’s upcoming series based on The Day of the Jackal. Inspired by the original novel by Frederick Forsyth, The Day of the Jackal takes the story to the present day and follows “The Jackal” and the British intelligence officer, played by Lashana Lynch, hunting him down. Úrsula Corberó is a woman who unknowingly begins a relationship with The Jackal and Charles Dance, Richard Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Lia Williams co-star. The show was created by Ronan Bennett, who previously worked on Top Boy and Gunpowder. The Day of the Jackal arrives on Peacock on November 7th, and you can check out the trailer below.
