A24 Goes ET in February with The Legend of Ochi (Trailer)
Although probably best known for their dramas and horror movies, A24 is bringing us a fantasy adventure reminiscent of something like ET in February next year with The Legend of Ochi. Set on a remote island where mysterious creatures threaten the residents, a young girl named Yuri (Helena Zengel) encounters and befriends one of the creatures. Defying her father (Willem Dafoe) and the group of young hunters he trains to defend against the monsters, Yuri sets out into the wilderness to bring her new friend home. Isaiah Sexton makes his feature film debut with The Legend of Ochi after directing several music videos and short films. The Legend of Ochi is out on February 28th next year, and you can check out the trailer below.
