ABC Sports Covers the Munich Olympics Hostage Crisis in September 5 (Trailer)

Steven Spielberg previously dramatized the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre and the subsequent hunt for the terrorists in the excellent Munich, but the events return to the big screen from the perspective of the ABC Sports team in the movie September 5.  Peter Sarsgaard plays Roone Arledge, the president of ABC Sports who was in Munich with his broadcast team when the hostage situation begins.  Instead of diverting coverage to the ABC News department, Arledge keeps the story with the sports team, who cover the event as it unfolds live only a few hundred feet from where they broadcast.  John Magaro, Ben Chaplin, Leonie Benesch, Zinedine Soualem, Corey Johnson, Georgina Rich, and Benjamin Walker co-star.  The movie incorporates archival footage of ABC Sports anchor Jim McKay and news anchor Peter Jennings, and director Tim Fehlbaum worked on creating an authentic recreation of the ABC Sports broadcast facility.  The movie will open in select theaters on November 29th and open wide on December 13th.  Check out the trailer below.
