How to Train Your Dragon is coming to live-action in June next year with a shot-for-shot remake of the 2010 animated classic from Dreamworks.
Mason Thames takes over as Hiccup, a young Viking who would rather use his brains than brawn and is reluctant to join in on his clan’s battle against the dragons that populate their home. When he stumbles across a dragon named Toothless, the pair grow a powerful bond that will change the world of Vikings and dragons forever. Gerard Butler reprises his role as Hiccup’s father, Stoick and Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Ruth Codd co-star. Dean DeBlois, who directed the original film, wrote and directed this remake, and John Powell returns with his iconic score.
