Three Big 2025 Animated Features Release New Trailers
Several big animated movies are coming out next year, and a few of them got new trailers, including Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Pixar’s Elio, and Universal’s The Bad Guys 2.
In the latest animated adventure from Nick Park, Wallace (Ben Whitehead) and Gromit find themselves up against an old foe, the villainous penguin Feathers McGraw, who takes control of Wallace’s latest invention, the Smart Gnome, and sends it on a vengeance fueled crime spree. The movie will be available on Netflix on January 3rd.
Elio is the latest from Pixar, who surged back in a massive way this year with Inside Out 2. Yonas Kibreab plays Elio, an alien-obsessed kid who gets to live his dream when he’s abducted by a group of intergalactic creatures known as the Communiverse, who mistakenly believe Elio to be the leader of Earth. Zoe Saldana, Remy Edgerly, Brad Garrett, Jameela Jamil and Shirley Henderson co-star with the trio of Domee Shi, Madeline Sharafian, and Adrian Molina directing. It’s out on June 13th.
The Bad Guys 2 finds the crew of reformed animal criminals, led by Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), trying to be good after the first movie’s events. The crew gets forced into “one last job” by another crew, The Bad Girls, looking to pull off a massive, global heist. Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Zazie Beetz, Richard Ayoade, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein return from the first movie, and Danielle Brooks, Maria Bakalova, and Natasha Lyonne join the cast. Pierre Perifel directed the film, and it’s out on August 1st.
