Worlds Collide in Karate Kid: Legends (Trailer)
Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio team up in the sixth film in The Karate Kid franchise, Karate Kid: Legends, which hits theaters in May next year. Mr. Han (Chan) comes seeking help from Daniel LaRusso (Macchio) to bring some Miyagi-do teachings to train his young protege Li Fong (newcomer Ben Wang). Li is to Mr. Han what Daniel-san was to Mr. Miyagi, and the two senseis have to see if their styles can blend to help Li prepare for a major karate competition in New York City: Joshua Jackson, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Ming-na Wen, and Sadie Stanley co-star. Jonathan Entwistle directs the movie. It’s not clear if this will have any ties to Cobra Kai or be some alternate universe version of Karate Kid, but it will be released following the final batch of episodes of Cobra Kai. Karate Kid: Legends is out on May 30th, and you can check out the trailer below.
