A New Era for DC Begins in July with Superman (Trailer)
While Creature Commandos is the first project under the DC Studios umbrella, the new era under James Gunn and Peter Safran truly begins next summer when Superman opens. David Corenswet is Clark Kent, aka Superman, who is established as both a reporter for the Daily Bugle and defending the world as Superman but still relatively early in both careers. Rachel Brosnahan is Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult is Lex Luthor, and Wendell Pierce is Perry White. To set up the extended DC Universe, Nathan Fillion is Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan is Metamorpho, Isabela Merced is Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi is Mr. Terrific, and María Gabriela de Faría is The Engineer. As highlighted in the trailer, Krypto the Superdog also appears. James Gunn wrote and directed the movie, which will hit theaters on July 11th next summer. Check out the trailer below.
