Terminator 2D: No Fate is Coming in September (Trailer)
Outside of the arcade light gun game, Terminator 2 got some horrible video game adaptations, but developer Bitmap Bureau will hopefully deliver a game worthy of T2’s greatness in September with Terminator 2D: No Fate. Following the movie’s plot, the game is a side-scrolling action platformer that looks to be taking heavy inspiration from games like Contra. It appears you’ll play as future John Connor in an expanded future segment and then the T-800 and Sarah Connor to play through some set-piece moments, like the semi-truck chase, the assault on Cyberdyne, and the fiery finale. Bitmap Bureau previously made retro-feeling games like Xeno Crisis, Final Vendetta, and Battle Axe. Terminator 2D: No Fate will be out on September 5th on PS4/5, Xbox, Switch, and PC, and you can check out the trailer below.
