With over 1000% funding from Kickstarter, Mega Cat Studios is gearing up to deliver a fresh 16-bit shoot-‘em-up for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive in ZPF. But if you are a gamer who needs a bit of lore to get excited about a game, MGS’s got you covered with a new trailer starring Quibley, one of ZPF’s enemies. So get comfortable and check out the trailer below.
Players will choose from three unique heroes, each piloting a specialized ship, and take to the skies to battle hordes of enemies. You’ll have to bob and weave from projectiles and keep focus as you play across six surrealistic landscapes that blend sci-fi and horror. If you are a fan of shoot’em ups and love the brutal challenge of completing a perfect run, watch for more ZPF news this year.
