Lilo & Stitch Comes to Live-Action in May (Trailer)
The live-action remakes keep coming from Disney, with Lilo & Stitch making the jump in May. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, who most recently directed Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, the new movie is a retelling/remake of the original 2002 animated film, with alien fugitive Stitich (Chris Sanders) escaping intergalactic custody and making his way to Earth, specifically Hawaii. In his quest to hide, Stitch disguises himself as a dog and is adopted by Lilo (Maia Kealoha), who lives with her older sister Nani (Sydney Elizebeth Agudong). A pair of aliens arrive on Earth looking to recapture Stitch, played by Zach Galifinakis and Billy Magnussen in the remake. Courtney B. Vance, Tia Carrere (reprising her role from the animated movie), Kaipo Dudoit, and Hannah Waddingham co-star. Lilo & Stitch is out on May 23rd, and you can check out the trailer below.
