Alexander Skarsgård is Murderbot in May on Apple TV+ (Trailer)
Alexander Skarsgård is a rogue security cyborg trying to keep its free will under wraps in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Murderbot. Based on the novel The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, Murderbot is sent to an isolated planet to protect a group of scientists, fighting off hostile alien lifeforms while binging entertainment and trying to hide that his programming is compromised. David Dastmalchian, Noma Dumezweni, Sabrina Wu, Tattiawna Jones, Akshay Khanna, and Tamara Podemski co-star. Chris and Paul Weitz, who co-directed movies like American Pie, About a Boy, and Down to Earth, and worked on films like Rogue One, Twilight: New Moon, and The Creator, are directing, writing, and producing the series. Murderbot debuts on May 16th on Apple TV+, and you can check out the trailer below.
