Up to Speed: The Last of Us Season 2
It’s been two years, but The Last of Us is finally back on HBO/Max this coming Sunday. Based on The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog, fans of the game know that as dark as the first season was, we haven’t seen anything yet. Pedro Pascal returns as Joel, and Bella Ramsey is back as Ellie, with Kaitlyn Dever, Young Mazino, Isabel Merced, Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Catherine O’Hara, Spencer Lord, Joe Pantoliano, Alanna Ubach, and Hettienne Park all joining the cast. The second season will consist of seven episodes and only tell about half of the game’s storyline, along with some new stories created just for the show. We’ll have to wait and see how the show handles the point of view, as fans of the game know that we played as multiple characters throughout the game.
