Operator Trailer

911 operators seem to be getting into greater danger in the world of movies, with Halle Berry having to chase down a serial killer in The Call last year and now Misha Barton is up against a psychotic Ving Rhames in next year’s “Operator”.  Barton is a 911 operator who gets a threatening call from a mysterious man, who takes her daughter hostage and forces her send a pair of cops, one of whom is her ex-husband, (Luke Goss and Michael Pare) into increasingly dangerous situations, like a bank robbery.  It’s the first major movie from The Brothers Olson, whose previous work includes the movie Unknown Caller (possibly a theme?).  It’s out in 2015 and you can check out the trailer below.
