Blumhouse Unleashes an Evil Teddy Bear in March with Imaginary (Trailer)
After the terrors of M3GAN and Five Nights At Freddy’s this year, Blumhouse is bringing us an evil teddy bear named Chauncey next year in Imaginary. Directed by Jeff Wadlow, who previously directed Fantasy Island and Truth or Dare for Blumhouse, Imaginary stars DeWanda Wise as Jessica, who moves back to her childhood home with her family. Her stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) finds an old teddy bear named Chauncey, who becomes her new imaginary friend. Jessica becomes concerned when Alice starts hurting herself based on what she says Chauncey is telling her and she learns that a not-so-imaginary evil entity lurks in the shadows. Betty Buckley, Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, Matthew Sato, Veronica Falcon and Dane DiLiegro co-star. The movie looks suitably creepy, but Wadlow’s previous efforts are not the best Blumhouse offers. Hopefully, it delivers on the chills on March 8th and you can check out the trailer below.
