Everything Action Theater: Limitless (2011)
As we kick off a new year and try to improve ourselves with resolutions, many of us probably secretly wish we could take a pill and fix everything like Bradley Cooper in 2011’s Limitless, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater.
Directed by Neil Burger, Limitless stars Bradley Cooper as Eddie Morra, a struggling author in New York City. Unable to progress creatively, Eddie is given a pill called NZT-48, which unlocks the full potential of his mind but also has potentially deadly side effects and puts him on a collision course with some dangerous characters. The movie was a hit when it was released, making $161.8 million worldwide off a $27 million budget. A TV sequel, also called Limitless, debuted on CBS in 2015 and featured Jake McDorman as a burnout musician named Brian Finch, who also takes NZT-48 and begins helping the FBI solve cases with his enhanced mental abilities. Cooper regularly appeared in the series as Morra, who provides Brian with a shot to counteract the side effects of NZT but has ulterior motives that Brian tries to figure out. Cooper also executive-produced the show. The series ran for one season of 22 episodes before being canceled. You can watch the movie below via YouTube.
