Steven Knight Returns to the London Underworld in A Thousand Blows (Trailer)
Previously bringing us Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight returns to the seedy underworld of London in the upcoming Hulu series A Thousand Blows. Set in the 1880s in London’s East End, the series follows Jamaican immigrants Hezekiah (Malachi Kirby) and Alec (Francis Lovehall) as they arrive in the city. Interested in boxing, the duo cross paths with Mary Carr (Erin Doherty), the leader of the female pickpocket group known as the Forty Elephants, and Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham), a criminal kingpin and brutal boxer. Ziggy Heath, Jason Tobin, and James Nelson-Joyce co-star. All series episodes arrive on Hulu and Disney+ on February 21st; you can check out the trailer below.
