Coming soon to Sky Atlantic in the UK and BBC America here in the states is the four part mini-series, Fleming, following the life of James Bond creator, Ian Fleming. Dominic Cooper, best known to us nerds as playing Howard Stark in Captain America, will play the author as he starts out as a failed stockbroker living off his parent’s wealth and eventually joining Naval Intelligence during WWII and basically becoming his famous creation, going on spy missions against the Nazis. He also gambled, drank and bedded as many women as his creation. There’s a teaser trailer below that does not really show much of what the mini-series is going to be like but it’s definitely trying to capitalize on the recent success of Skyfall and the Craig era of Bond.
