Maria Bamford, the wonderfully kooky comedian, is starring in the next Netflix comedy series that is semi-based on her real life, Lady Dynamite. Re-teaming with Arrested Development’s Mitch Hurwitz after her scene stealing role in Season 4 of AD, Bamford plays a slightly more surreal version of herself as she tries to become an actress in Los Angeles, had to be hospitalized for bi-polar disorder and eventually got to where she is now as a self deprecating actress and stand up. Bamford looks hilarious as always and there seems to be a great roster of guest stars including Ana Gasteyer, Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, Jason Mantzoukas, Dean Cain, June Diane Raphael, Andy Daly, Jenny Slate, Ed Begley Jr and more.
