Ryan Reynolds plays the world’s best bodyguard who is forced to team up with his exact opposite, the world’s best assassin (Samuel L. Jackson), as the assassin is going to testify at The Hague to put away a ruthless dictator, played by Gary Oldman. Salma Hayek, Elodie Yung, Joaquim De Almeida, Kirsty Mitchell and Richard E. Grant co-star and the movie is directed by Expendables 3 director Patrick Hughes. It seems to be going for a hard R, Shane Black style of buddy action and while Jackson is an artist with “motherfucker”, him saying it over and over is the main joke of the trailer but hopefully there’s a bit more to it when it hits on August 18th.
