It’s been over a year since we got to see the first episode of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s new comedy show Jean Claude Van Johnson but our wait for the full season is almost over as Amazon has revealed a new trailer plus the release date: December 15th. JCVD plays a heightened spin on himself and it’s revealed that his action movie career was just a cover for his true job of being an international black ops agent using the alias Jean-Claude Van Johnson. Washed up and trying to get back in the game after briefly reuniting with an old flame, JCVD is given another shot by his old boss, played by Phylicia Rashad. The first episode was hilarious as JCVD went to Europe to star in an insane action movie spin on Huck Finnn while also infiltrating a nefarious facility and there were plenty of jokes about Bloodsport and action movie cliches that any action movie fan should love. If you Amazon Prime, get ready for a split kick of awesomeness when JCVJ arrives and you can check out the new trailer below.
