Castle Rock was already a horrible place to live but it seems like it will get worse in the upcoming second season of the Hulu original series as Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan) arrives in town. On the run with her daughter for possibly murder and other crimes, Annie takes up a job as a nurse and runs afoul of local crime boss Reginald “Pop” Merrill (Tim Robbins). Elsie Fisher co-stars as Annie’s daughter Joy and Paul Barnes, Yusra Warsama, Matthew Alan, and Barkhad Abdi co-star as well. Much like the first season, prominent locations of King lore, like Jerusalem’s Lot (and it’s Marsten House) and Shawshank Prison are features in the trailer and it seems like the second season may be digging into the twisted history of this cursed town. The new season starts on October 23rd on Hulu and you can check out the full trailer below.
